Help Khalils Family in Gaza
Australia
My name is Megan, and I’m raising funds for Khalil Mahdi, a 28-year-old father from Gaza who is desperately trying to care for his family amidst unimaginable hardship.
Khalil lives in a single room with his wife and two young children—his eldest is just 5 years old, and the youngest only 2. Their home was destroyed in the ongoing war, and they now shelter in the ruins, with no protection from the summer heat or the coming cold. There is no food. His children are crying from hunger, and he has no way to provide for them.
But Khalil is not only responsible for his children—he is also caring for his elderly, unwell parents and his disabled sisters, whose ages range from 5 to 32. Before the war, Khalil worked as a building doorman, earning enough to look after his family. But like so many others in Gaza, the war has taken everything from him—his home, his job, and his means to survive.
“There is no one looking after us,” he told me. “My mother is sick. My father is sick. My children cry from hunger. Please, help me save them.”
This campaign is to help Khalil buy food and essential supplies for his family. Every dollar you give will go directly to Khalil, so he can buy bread, rice, formula, water—whatever his family needs to get through another day.
Please donate if you can, or share this campaign to help Khalil and his family survive. Together, we can offer some relief and show them they are not alone.
Thank you for your kindness.
